Happy Wednesday!
We had another great day today. The most exciting thing for some of the students is that we (finally) talked about the rest of the classroom jobs they will be assigned and responsible for doing. Some of them are very excited about that.
The most exciting thing for me is that today they demonstrated they are developing a pretty solid grasp of the basics they are going to need to be successful in English class. Almost everything is brand new for them but today they proved to themselves that they know and are remembering much more than they think they are. I am so proud of them!
I also have to apologize because it became clear to me last night that despite my best intentions I was not going to be able to get a newsletter out this week. The only thing you really need to know that you don't already is that the Spelling words for the test on Friday are:
