Hello everyone, we had a really great first day of school!
The class was well behaved (yes they really were!) and we got all of our stuff put away. We even got through two classes - but no actual homework.
Assignments from today:
Reading - we started a character trait study worksheet which we will finish in class tomorrow, so no homework
Memory Work - Because we had a "weird day" the class was told that the First Article part 1 does NOT have to be recited tomorrow and that they may do it any other day this week. We did work on it quite a bit in class, so if the students ARE able to recite it tomorrow it will be considered extra credit and they will each receive a $5 bonus. There is no penalty if they do not say the First Article part 1 tomorrow.
